My Zanzibar is a leading tour operator in Zanzibar, renowned for serving French-speaking clients and delivering exceptional travel experiences. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support our financial management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tools to track company incomes, costs, and expenses.

• Create management reporting tools to support decision-making.

• File income declarations with Zanzibar’s relevant authorities.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.

• Provide financial data to the company’s partner consulting firm.

• Manage HR-related documentation for employees.

• Handle procedures for obtaining/renewing official company documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting or financial management.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

• Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance in Zanzibar (advantage).

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in English.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
